Pentair Valves & Controls has announced the expansion of its Anseong manufacturing facility in South Korea, which will now produce trunnion mounted ball valves under Pentair’s FCT brand.

Operations at the plant include valve manufacture, assembly and testing for critical applications in the on and offshore oil and gas, marine and LNG industries.

The plant will produce forged carbon steel and FCT-branded stainless steel ball valves, certified to API 6D and API 607, in sizes up to 24 in.

“The expansion of our capabilities at the Anseong facility is an exciting development that will offer numerous benefits to meet the needs of our Korean customers,” said Luc Joosens, Global Business Director, Ball Valves, Pentair Valves & Controls. “Increasing our manufacturing efforts in the Korean market demonstrates our commitment to working closely with customers, and serving their local needs to facilitate more efficient operations.”
